KDM Hire Cookstown 100 review

Local rider (Tobermore) Adam Mclean won an impressive double at the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 on Saturday. McLean’s remarkable return to road racing following his injury last year saw him lift both the Supersport and Supertwin classes on the Mcadoo Racing bikes.

The Supersport race seen McLean winning by 3.7 seconds ahead of Daryl Tweed and Michael Sweeney while also setting a record-breaking lap time within the class.

Meanwhile, Derek Sheils took the top step of the podium in the Open Race to claim his 9th win on the 2.1 mile Orritor Circuit.
